The Cavana Residence was a major remodel and addition to an existing single-family residence.  The project scope included a complete remodel of their 1931 beach cottage, correcting existing site drainage and access issues, and a new two story addition to the front of the house.  The connection between existing residence and new addition was limited to a narrow single-story element in order to minimize impact to the original cottage exterior.
