The Antigua Residence was a major remodel and addition to an existing single-family residence in the Dover Shores neighborhood of Newport Beach, California.  The project scope included a complete interior and exterior remodel of the two-story 1963 home, additions at the first and second floors, new elevated decks off the front and back of the house, new pool and spa, and other various site improvements throughout the property.  The interior and exterior remodel work was done to enlarge the house and transform its style from nondescript to modernized mid-century.  Walls were removed and spaces redesigned to have the kitchen, dining, and family room all open to each other, as well as new large-scale door opening systems to connect these spaces to the rear yard, pool, and covered lounge area.
