The McNutt Residence was a major remodel to an existing single-family residence in the Lantern Village neighborhood of Dana Point, California, situated along the top-of-bluff overlooking the Dana Point Harbor and the Pacific Ocean. The project scope included a complete interior and exterior remodel of the single-story 1979 home, new pool and spa, and other various site improvements throughout the property. The interior and exterior remodel work was done to open and improve the flow and visual connection within the home, to transform its dated style, and to take advantage of the sweeping ocean views. New large-scale door systems were incorporate to connect the rear yard, living spaces, and exterior central courtyard.
