The Woods Cove Inn project was an interior and exterior remodel of the previously-titled Laguna Beach Inn located on Pacific Coast Highway in the Woods Cove neighborhood of Laguna Beach, California. The project scope included a complete interior and exterior remodel of the two-story 1948 hotel, redesign of the parking layout and circulation, as well as various site improvements throughout the property. The interior and exterior remodel work was done to update and modernize its style from unkempt and nondescript to relaxed Spanish coastal. Walls were removed and spaces redesigned to have the front lobby and community space connect and interact with each other. The unique features of old brickwork, boosted clay barrel roof tile, and an open-faced fireplace in the front lobby were preserved as some of the original charm.
